  • SIM Time

Now that we've had a few, I'd like to get everyone's take on SIM Times. And please, you don't have to say "whatever works best for you." I'd like to get your take and why.

    Morning 7a?

    Mid-Day 3p?

    Evening?
    The Great One!

    To many rings to count...

The SIM change hasn't affected me.

I enjoy having them in the morning. Gives me something to read through all day and next.

I prefer the early morning sim. Since I'm out on the west coast, I get up and the sim is there. The normal wait time has been transferred to sleeping time, which is awesome. I can watch the games while I make breakfast, make adjustments to the team and then still have the rest of the day to do productive things.

It works extremely well for me.

The morning SIM is a beautiful thing. This morning instead of having a crappy Monday morning I actually looked forward to getting to work knowing the SIM results would be ready to review upon my arrival. It's a great way kickstart the day.

I don't have access to the game or the html and forums during the work day. All my OOTP business is usually conducted after 10:00 pm Eastern. So anytime between 12:00 am and 9:30 pm (Eastern) works for me.

Personally, I miss the nighttime sims. It's been so long that it's completely possible that I really wouldn't like them anymore, but I always enjoyed the "anticipation" leading up to the sim at 9 pm. Always felt like there was some good chatter in the candle thread from 8 pm on, and I'd usually grab a beer and export that night leading up to it.

I don't mind the afternoon or AM sims at all, so it really is "whatever works for you." But maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but I just thought the PM sims seemed to generate a little more activity on the boards and felt a little more exciting to me. And I don't eat breakfast.

But seriously. Whatever works for you.

We'll probably go nighttime SIMs for the playoff LIVE sims. I think they'll work best.
