5-1 this week, sweeping Los Alamos, and taking 2 of 3 from Carolina. We ran our win streak to 16 games before dropping one to the Tobs, who we are 8-3 against this season.

MacCabe and Rochester had solid weeks, and Campoveroe is finally back from his injury. Dave Robbins is on fire.

Well, 3-2 isn't going to get me anywhere fast.

I am very excited that Dan Hogan is willing to re-negotiate with me. I had a feeling he wouldn't. I hope my offer isn't too low for his liking.

I get Lipincott back in 1-2 weeks, and then my OF will be set. I have zero shot of catching Wilmington but atleast I can build some momentum into next season.

I took a look at the divisional races, and upcoming schedules. Looks like we have two divisions to follow down the stretch run.

I wouldn't count out Windy City just yet. Only 6.5 back, he has four games this weekend against California. Carolina has four against me. Then, Carolina travels to Windy City for a three game series. Don't be shocked if that division lead is down to two-three after just this sim.

Los Lunas is six back of Denver, but Robby made a bunch of moves at the deadline to improve his team, while Denver didn't. They also play each other this sim.

The other two divisions, appear to be over. Wilmington is read hot, and made numerous moves at the deadline. Maine has also been hot, and Pittsburgh is 11.5 back almost shutting the window of opportunity.

Weird week, with some teams having 2 off days. I went 3-2, winning my first two games against Dallas, then losing 2/3 to Los Lunas. My offense fell asleep a little bit, getting shut out by Los Lunas twice. My starters pitched well though and Gil O'Moore's ERA continues to drop.

I just finished up an 18 game stretch without a day off and this sim showed it by going 2-5.

Cafferty and LaRochelle pitched well this sim although, interestingly enough, Barto Ramirez appears to have benefitted most from their arrival averaging nearly 7 innings per start with a 2.87 ERA and over a 3:1 K to BB ratio. Windley was awarded the IL player of the week (again) and is now batting nearly .300.

Dylan Howard had another great sim hitting over .400 this week in AAA. September can't get here soon enough.

And, of course, Tardif had another dominant outing going 7 innings, giving up 2 hits, walking four, and striking out 10 in getting the win. He's 4-3 at A Ball with a 0.78 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and 74 K's in 68 IP. The guy is only 17 years old.

My guys are dying for a day off.

That never stopped you from going after women after they told you that, did it?

Besides, he's 2-0 with a 2.89 ERA with my team in 4 starts.
