Jistic is old. We have to just let some things slide.
As for my pick. I really like Quinn. Potentially, he's got as much power as anyone in this draft, has a good eye. Can steal bases. He's not going to be a batting champion, but he should do ok there. I haven't done a ton of research here, but his contract demand is the highest for any hitter in the draft.
That said, he's going to suck for a while in A ball and he won't help me for years. He's somewhat of a rarity in that he only has 3 seasons of HS ball, and he didn't sit any of them out on the bench.
Also, if someone is looking to trade down, I have 4 second round picks (2.6, 2.13, 2.16, 2.18). I might be interested in moving back up, depending on it shakes out.
Was really tempted to reach for somebody here but went with the safe pick and SP Mat McCarty. That gives us two solid SP prospects which we sorely need. Now we sit back til the 6th round. Have fun losers.

Washington selects SP Troy Hanback. My scout thinks as long as he stays healthy, he will be a front-line pitcher. After Tommy John surgery, he is rated as 'durable.' Potential 4-5-7, currently 454. A baseball rat.
I don't pick again until the '3rd round,' 4.16 and 4.20 in the utility. I would like to pick sooner then that. If you are picking in the second or sandwich round, and don't like whats available, let's talk trade. I'm open to ideas. Prospects, current and future picks.

Trust me, you chose well. Don't believe the haters.
The Top 100 Prospect list is usually full of crap.
I have my eye on a few guys in the 2.1 range. If they aren't there, I'd be open to moving out for extra picks and prospects. So, if the time comes and someone wants to move into 2.1, hit me up.
Like the Hanback pick Pat. My scout is very high on him.
