Sorry, just got back from a funeral. I'm taking Pat Wildfire Bryant at 1. Hopefully he pans out like Norfleet thinks he will.

Pat Bryant was easily #1 on my board. He's the guy I wanted to trade up for. Love him.

          MY TAKE....

Pat "Wildfire" Bryant -- Easily the top SP on the board. I expect him to debut in the TOP 3 on BA TOP PROSPECTS from Day 1.

Liked him a lot... however... if I had traded up into 1.1 (and 1.2), I would have passed on him just because my "PLAN" would have changed if I had the top 2 picks.

My pick will be in as soon as I get home from getting my daughter. 10ish minutes.

I expected him to go #1. Denver on the imaginary clock would have taken Mat McCarty second overall.

Too bad he will now disappear into the BLB Sarlacc Pit that is Hartford.

I am 100% serious and I said it before that I don't really like anyone on this draft board to be a star (exception being the #1 pick).

I see other good pitchers and the list for the #2 pick was about 6 pitchers deep for me, but McCarty is the only one that has both the pitches and straight forward ratings. Everyone else has a fault I didn't like.

Getting something of value for that pick was always my goal.

I won't expound on McCarty since he hasn't been picked yet... but I didn't have him at #2 range.

                              Pick coming.
