I've already called dibs on that plan. However, being the nice guy that I am, I've decided to make my picks in a more timely fashion. A very benevolent action on my part.
So far my scout is in love with Maine's draft picks. Had what my scout thought was the #1 pick Niato late in the first round. Then the bastard stole a LF in the second round who was projected to go late first round.
Lol, compared to Maine's previous first rounder in 94 who ended up being cut this draft should make up for it. Good shooting soldier!
All ready to pick my guy from my shortlist in game and then realized he was gone. Went with the 21 year old flamethrower from Miami. If he busts he can be our pinch runner.
Very pleased to get Eddy Alanis towards the end of the 2nd round. I hate drafting HS pitchers, but my scout thought he was the 5th-best starter with multiple pitches in this draft and he has the potential to have three plus pitches.
Note: My scout is very likely wrong about all of the above.

I'm done with picks until Round 4. I'm pretty happy with who I got with my first 5 picks. Some guys that I think will really help. Quinn was the best talent on the board when I picked. Bridges and Tsuji were two of the top relievers in the draft and I could certainly use to have some good prospects there. I like Christensen as a SP, good velocity, movement, stamina. I also took "Jimmy" Bond, an outfielder that I also liked.
