Just when I was going to nominate Pat for 1995 Asshat of the Draft, you have to come and steal his glory in one fell swoop.

I'll be the first to admit he wasn't on my board, although he was the next pick I should've made (following Katsura) according to my scout. You will hardly ever see me take a chance on a guy that had a poor performance in feeder leagues.

1) What my Scout says...
2) What my experience with OSA says...
3) What the Feeder League stats say...
It's not those exactly in that order... but depending on the round... I'll weight each one more significantly. The Great One!
To many rings to count...

As I said in the other thread, HS stats are strange. His ERA+ was fine (not overpowering, but solid), the K:BB is there. It's just such a hitting-friendly level. I like him. He's fragile, and his stuff isn't great, so I figured he'd fall to me. He'll throw harder as he gets older.Washington Bats, 2013-

I actually took a chance on Dugan because frankly, it didn't all add up with him.
4 for stuff, but a great K:IP ratio.
#60 pitcher on my board - which leans heavily on my scout, 60-75% perhaps - but #10 on my scout's in game draft board.
I ended up taking the guy over the #5 pitcher on my board (which I only use as a general guideline), who I considered at #14 but just aren't totally convinced on. I figured Dugan had enough going on to take a risk.
What put me over the top was those horrific BABIP numbers. Over .400 three of his four years.Charlotte Knights - OSFL
Syracuse Slammers - BLB
South America - 1984 WBC Runner Up

So far my scout is in love with Maine's draft picks. Had what my scout thought was the #1 pick Niato late in the first round. Then the bastard stole a LF in the second round who was projected to go late first round.
Lol, compared to Maine's previous first rounder in 94 who ended up being cut this draft should make up for it. Good shooting soldier!PAWTUCKET PATRIOTS
