  • SIM COMPLETE - 1981 - Regular Season 16

Please make sure your minor league teams are complying with the 30 man roster limits. I've had to DFA a couple players in the last couple sims because teams went over.

League file is up, html will be up later.

    WTF!
I go 6-0, but lose Dupuis for 8 months. I guess those teams that wanted Robbins should've snatched him up sooner.

My team's getting desomated by injuries. Paiz, Abe, Boladeres, McGee, and Vargas are all out :(.

Please note that the trade deadline will pass during Thursday's sim. All non-waiver trades need to be posted by 9ET on Thursday.

This one's interesting. Had a guy go 6-6 and he doesn't get player of the game: http://ootp.oldredboat.com/news/html..._box_4596.html
          Dallas Snappers

          Pilsner Champs: 1984, 1986, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998
          DL Wild card: 1992

2-1 against both Baltimore and Philadelphia.

Got two pitchers back from injury, and two of my hitters who have been sleeping the whole season look to be finally waking up. The Bats aren't done just yet!

Take a closer look, and you will see...

            Florentino Ostorga: 6 for 6, 1 R, 3 RBI
            Shing She: 3 for 3, 5 R, 4 RBI, 2 HR, 2 BB
            Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
            Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
            Washington Bats - 1979-2013

I saw that, and maybe it's a close call but I would give player of the game to the guy who goes 6-6 vs. a guy who hits 2 HRs. How often do you see 2 HRs by a player in a game and how often do you see 6-6? I thought it was interesting who the computer chose.

You have to assume it's a calculation based on stats. A plus for something good... a minus for something bad. So, for each Run, RBI, HR, BB... there was some value added to his total. As impressive as 6 for 6 is... Ostorga's stat line just isn't as full as She's line.

Sorry, I think I have been guilty of this. Is there a way to tell which minor league team they will land on? My theory is that the program starts them at the bottom and works its way up until it can find a home for the player but I am not sure about this.

Is there a way that the players can automatically go to the DFA list? The problem with the current system is that if the player gets assigned to a level lower than he thinks he belongs it pisses him off and bumping him up doesn't necessarily change that as far as I can see. Does anyone know if the player morale effects anything other than his willingness to resign?
