Though, there is absolutely no way that Davenport is the 3rd best team in the league.
I don't want to go disparaging others, but that did catch my eye as well. On the plus side I am rated higher this year than last... And I was the highest jumper last year by the end.

Was shocked to see Davenport up there as well. Math loved them. Don't know what to say.

This was a good year for Shavermetrics. I feel like of my Top 10 - 7 were good picks, 2 (PHI and IND) would have been better if they hadn't sold so many assets - and 1 is just poorly managed.

              All and all...decent year.

We'll thank Funclown on this one. Coming off of 105 losses and losing your ace? Bad mojo.

Without the Guzman (HAR pitching MVP) for Goodwin trade, the rotation is the worst in the BLB with Lindsey out to start the year and Godron back at closer. Without Guzman, we don't even think of adding R-Go, Knight, Valencia, Newlin or Aaron either.

Sure, Sau and Hernandez blew up and Durham stayed (mostly) off the shelf, but Guzman set-up this season by doing what he does best - chewing up innings, winning games, and holding that low-ERA and keeping us competitive through August.

NOW... who wants to start the pool on "how long till Knight has a major injury in Hartford" or, as I like to call it, "The Chuck Durham Effect"???

                  I've got August 6th

(Prays to God that Knight doesn't get hurt on August 6th thus cementing my reputation)
Sau instead...got hurt the first week in August (went 0-6) and then again in September. Knight saved us batting clean-up behind Hernandez.

That and Durham stayed healthy. He is like your team's heart.

And YOUR WELCOME for Guzman. Not sure he would of had that type of season in Pawtucket since I couldnt play him after home second half of 94, but glad he worked out.

Just realized we have the 4th best record in baseball and might be sitting home in the playoffs.

                    Crazy.

Make no mistake. A couple of trades and Both Syracuse and Indy tanking helped Denver.

                      I know this.
