    You're mis-remembering, Roger.

I offered you last SIM to Waive him at the end of the last SIM, but you didn't get back to me until after the league file was up. I'm assuming you waived him in the new league file and he cleared because it was 15 days long.

    Simple solution.

Any team who wanted to claim McGuire... send me a PM before Monday. Team with the worst record last season gets him. I'll just edit him over.

    Not a huge deal.

I want to know what Z promised in these "private discussions" to get someone to claim McGuire.

I guess I should reword that. Pretty sure I already know, I just want to confirm.

We went 8-6. Nobody important got hurt. My only complaint is that in our 14 games, Al Hamilton didn't hit 14 HRs, so he's disappointing me so far.

It looks like he was never injured. Just drafted in the first round and sat?

He's about 4 years too young for Pat's A-ball Roster.

My bad I was looking post draft. But I like Clay's answer.

14 Spring Training Games ... 27 stolen bases on 30 attempts. These bastards are going to run themselves onto the DL. But sometimes you just gotta let those ponies run!

Pirro Hidalgo hits a Grand Slam in his first game as a Colonial... then puts his bat away for the rest of the SIM. Like this kid. Think he's going to love hitting at Colonial Park. Even if it's only part-time.

Lots of decisions to make on some bullpen arms for this squad. Some guys really doing a great job there and only a couple struggling.

Pretty much have decided on a 6 man bench that might be too deep, but it's what I'm comfortable with for the time being. That means a short bullpen, but we're hoping that by having a few high stamina guys, it'll be okay.

Denver taking some gambles this season. Gotta make things interesting or I'll just bore myself with losses.

I know O'fallon is a bum but he hit .286 with a .909 OPS+ along with 3 bombs and 11 RBI's (I know it's only ST sim 1). He probably won't hit that good over a 2 week period the rest of the season. But after all the flac I got, thank you Ron not making me feel like a total idiot (at least for now). Millers came away from the first 2 weeks with the worst record in the BLB. Might be a long season for the Steele City Cantalevers.

Don Leonard looks washed up after Tommy John surgery. It's a shame. I gotta hope Larochelle stays healthy.

I'll have two rookies playing key parts on this team this year. I'll do bit more of a write-up soon on them. First is my catcher Thang Mac who will have to fill the void left by Anibal Calderon. He's got a ton of minor league experience and is as pure a hitter as you will see behind the dish. He's got the potential to be a perennial .300 hitter. The starting RF spot will be given to young Hue Crawford who was obtained from Hartford last season- my scout thinks he's got a long career as a solid corner OF. He's no Gene Dixon (a stud) but he's on the next tier of prospects. With Buzzell, Branch, Mac, and Crawford this team is looking a lot different this year.
