                Dumb question alert!!!

So we sim two weeks at a time in ST correcrt? There are guys I have that I want getting time and practice at differant positions. So obviously I can't use a seven day lineup for the two weeks but can i fill out the first week and use the setting stick to daily lineups? Like would it stick to the daily lineups for that first week and then the second week it would just just use my lineups vs L and R? Or is there a way to set daily lineups for the two weeks? What are peoples thoughts and/or straregies for making sure these guys are getting their shot and practice at differant positions?

It will use them for the first week and if you choose not to clear the lineups it will use them for the second week as well. If you do clear them then it will use the AI's best guess, which for spring training includes a lot of substitutions.

You better off setting up your depth chart (not using the 7 day) and have the back play "every 3rd game" whatever amount of games your trying to get in.

Pitching.... umm put them on a very short leash and 100% make your rotation 6 man WITH a spot starter. Seems with pitchers, the manager keeps the starter pitch count low.

I always worry about injuries the next 2 sims. Lol, I'm sure I dont get my regulars enough work which is why we have only had ONE winning April(15-13) since I took over this team.

Make sure to untick the "don't pinch hit for" box, or your guys will not be subbed out, as they should be.

It's not defaulted so unless you have already selected the "don't pinch hit for" box then you should be fine. Just making sure you don't go through every single guy.

It's really not that complex because the AI in ST is pretty good. If you start your bench every 2-3 games then you should get a good amount of work for most everyone. The trick is not playing the guys who you don't want getting hurt.
