Wilmington adds pop at catcher

The Wildcats are proud to annouce the signing of C Clint Underwood to a 5 year contract. Clint feels he will be with the Wildcats thru the remainder of his career. He provides a decent left hand bat to the line-up. Although he is a free swinger and won't walk often. Not really sure how he won an award with his glove in 1990.

We had a long talk with Underwood prior to giving him an offer. He promises to take more pitches and cut down on the walk to K's thingy.
