  • SIM COMPLETE - 1981 - Regular Season 14

All star teams have been entered. Let me know if I screwed anything up.

    0-2 vs Los Alamos
    3-1 vs Windy City

Hovering around .500 lately, but Baltimore has been doing the same. We need to step it up soon. Might be time to shake things up.

6-1 this week for me, and gained more ground. Neto Bermeo had a couple 4-4 games and hit 3 HR in one of them. Everything is clicking right now.

Where did this guy come from? I know it's only 18 games, but he's been amazing in the minors, and is pushing me to find a regular spot for him in my lineup.

First Base D. Zauola hitting potential INCREASES.

Guy has killed the ball everywhere he's played. This is one of those talent increases that actually makes sense.

            2-1 vs. Los Almos
            2-1 vs. California

Not exactly world beaters, but I will take it. I am now 6.5 back of 1st, and 4.5 of second. My next two series are against Wilmington and Baltimore. These next two series are huge.

              He's a Carolina boy, what'd you expect?

Decent week for the Bulls. We went 4-2, losing both games of a 2 game series to Hartford but coming back and sweeping Pawtucket 4 games to 0. I also extended my division lead by a game this sim, so not too bad.

In the Pawtucket series, my pitching came alive, holding them to 3 runs over the 4 games including 2 shutouts. I hope this is a sign of things to come. Now if we can just get Pedro Zamarida back in the lineup...

                2-4 for Virginia.

2-0 against Davenport and swept by Carolina who just owns me.

Cafferty got a win in Davenport in what could be his last game as a Colonial.

I know it's sad to get excited about a 'A' guy, but I am loving my #1 pick Yan van den Adel. In 29 games, he's reached base 46 times and stolen 21 bases. That's speed that we just don't have in Virginia.

3-3, lost a game, as TJ said. The bullpen looked a little shaky this sim, but nothing to be afraid of. C. Bell must have been nervous hearing that he made the All-Star team for the first time, because he gave up 5 runs in the 13th inning to take his ERA from 1.27 to 2.48. Actually, the game before that he allowed 3 runs taking his ERA from 0.52 to 1.27, so he's had it rough the last few outings.

Other than that, things are ok considering our starting CF is out, and noone can hit.

Weird, last two sims I exported (checked the export tracker to make sure I exported) and none of the changes seem to have registered. This happened 2 weeks in a row, any thoughts?

My guess is that Andrew forgot to import your stuff, Spectre.

7-0 week, so nothing to complain about here. Took 3 from Philly, 4 from Virginia, all at home. Hitting was good, pitching was good, can't ask for anything more than that. Opened up some breathing room in my division as well. Hopefully this keeps up.

We did lose are #1 set up man, Matt "Piglet" Rogers, for a month. That could hurt if the rest of the bullpen doesn't step up.

                          Lets see...

I'm losing, my best pitcher gets hurt, and my new catcher gets hurt. Fantastic.
