Only $7M a season for a career .248 hitter with 26 total HR in his last 4 seasons who can neither field nor run. He was clearly the difference in Hartford last season, so congrats on acquiring him.
I guess the good news is that he was hurt quite a bit last season, so maybe you won't have to play him that much.

This coming from the guy who just gave $3.3M to an outfielder who could have been picked up in August for $280K.

Oh "Gremades" i forgot to look at his stats. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. By the way see that Scott is back on the Top 20?

Not only is it completely not true that he would have been available in August for $280K, but $3.3M over 2 seasons is chump change in this league for a backup/platoon OF.
I did just sign that guy, but mentioning it in this context is meaningless.

I'm saying you could have signed him in August of '94 for $280k. I signed him earlier last season for a minor league contract. Oh, and if you are expecting him to platoon...well, good luck.
Yeah, a platoon might not work. I mean after all, Garcia's career OPS vs LHP is higher than Ron O'Fallon's total OPS in two of the last three seasons. And Garcia can actually field three competently at three OF positions. But what do I know.
And by the way, LOL at this whole conversation considering you're paying Marlon Dixon $1.8M this season.

Yeah, Marlon Dixon, the same Dixon who plays DUI defense and 8's on running, is clearly overpaid at $1.8. I'd much rather be on the books for $3.3 guaranteed for a guy who in Free-Agency last year went untouched, and could have been signed three sims ago for the league minimum...
But what do I know about winning...
<<<2nd highest winning percentage.
