In addition to Nino, Ezequiel Parongao also retired. That's pretty much the last of the great Tobs players that we'll ever see in this league. Every member of my championship team is now out of the league.

Now the youngsters can be themselves. No one looking over their shoulder.

            .
Interesting OSA rescout of 1B Scott Rodriguez. I expected him to be better but not this much better. Now to hope he really is as OSA sees.

No doubt that's what's been holding us back all these years.

I don't put much, if any, stock in the OSA scouting, but their rescout was very kind to Al Hamilton and Pat Faulkner. Hamilton is a complete beast now, according to OSA. I expect to see him make a big jump, but I've mentioned that before.

I've never seen someone jump three rating points in power like Hamilton did from one rescout to the next. Very interested to see how that ends up.

Well, anyone that knows anything likes Hamilton, and I do hope he is as good as OSA sees him now.

I have to check to see what my scout thinks. I gotta do the same for Rodriguez. I just don't understand where OSA is getting their scouts from to say Rodriguez is a 6-7-5 after his last two AAA seasons.

I remember him having a little coming out party in 1992 and being excited but then he just went backwards. Now I wonder if perhaps I hurt his growth and he only saw this bump because I finally promoted him. Always possible.

I think we can all agree with that. Who wouldn't love to see Hamilton perform as well as OSA thinks he is? We'd all love to see my team succeed.

My scout has liked that kid for a while. I wont be surprised when he puts it all together next year.
