    Batting: RHB J. Discur
    0-0: Ball
    1-0: Called Strike
    1-1: Ball
    2-1: Foul Ball
    2-2: Ball
Reached via error on receiving a throw, E3

What happened there? Did he hit the pitch and the first basemen screwed up the throw? This kid was the winning run. Just curious.
it sounds like the 1b messed up in CATCHING the throw TO him.

That's what I assumed, it just seemed strange that it didn't say where the ball was hit. The extra irony is that it was a defensive replacement playing first at the time. LOL

I bet it was a K, with the 3rd strike dropped. Then the 1st baseman made an error catching it and the runner was safe.

I've always disliked this about the game logs, they don't give enough information. I'd like to know every time the ball was put into play, but with results like this it's to vague to know.

I thought the logs did show practically every ball that is hit in play, which makes Clay's example weird. I've never seen that before in any of the logs I've looked at.

I'm pretty sure i've seen other examples of "vagueness", but it could be me who's wrong, lol.
