6-1 for Maine. 3/4 from Pittsburgh and swept Pawtucket. Our offense is rolling right now, scoring 47 more runs this week. That makes 102 in the last 2 weeks. Bermeo had 3 HR's and Fallon had 5. Fallon now has 10 HR's and 36 RBI's in June compared to 5 and 34 in April/May.

4-3 this week but I'll take a winning week of any kind when it is against Windy City and Carolina. Split a four game set with the reigning division champion and took two of three from the current leader.
On another note, I tried Martin Carlton out at starter with a 90 pitch limit on him and he threw five innnings of one hit ball versus the Playboys.
Tardif is continuing to put up extremely good numbers and O'Connors had good back-to-back outings.
I don't know how much longer I can keep Dylan Howard in the minors. He hit .400 this week at AAA.

Had my first Maine-esque jump last night. Jim Fletcher, who has been pitching pretty poorly overall in AA Roanoke, jumped from a 3/3/3 - 20/20 to a 5/6/5 - 21/58 in last night's sim. That was an unexpected jump that I was happy to see.The Great One!

One thing I do know is it's far better than 2006. We'll definitely see some late round stars and early round busts.

3-3 against the division. record didn't get any worse, but i still dropped in the standings. geake finally pitched a good game. o'connelan has been okay, but still somewhat disappointing. i'm definitely missing an ace on my staff. might have to call up sakai soon and see what he can do. tribe and delosantos have been pitching great in relief since i acquired them.
signing lumar for 5 years has definitely took some of the urgency out of this season. at this point i'd just like to finish above .500, maybe .550 if things start going my way.

Someone tell me how this works....
In my June 25th game against Baltimore, I got into the bottom of the 9th tied. I get the first batter out. Next hitter has this sequence.
Batting: RHB J. Discur
0-0: Ball
1-0: Called Strike
1-1: Ball
2-1: Foul Ball
2-2: Ball
Reached via error on receiving a throw, E3
What happened there? Did he hit the pitch and the first basemen screwed up the throw? This kid was the winning run. Just curious. The Great One!
