  • SIM COMPLETE - Regular Season 11

The league file is up. HTML will be up tomorrow morning. I'm not sure if it's my laptop or what, but the HTML generation takes FOREVER with OOTP 2007. All Star voting will also start tomorrow, so keep an eye out.

Good week for Maine. Took 2/3 from Windy City, then swept Virginia. We scored a ton of runs this week and are now 20-8 at home compared to 20-20 on the road. Big series coming up with Pittsburgh.

4-2, pushed our lead to 1.5 over Baltimore. It's going to be a dogfight til the end.

3-3. Missed an opportunity to gain some ground on Denver, who also went 3-3. Still one game below .500, but coming along.

24 year old SP Ron Maclagan, former 18 game winner who just about lost everything and was sent back to the minors, now has returned to the BLB and is putting up impressive numbers:

        3 GS
        2-0
        1.77 ERA
        1.03 WHIP
        19 K
        4 BB

5-1 week for the Tobs. We swept Syracuse then took 2 of 3 from Sin City, all on the road. We went 10-2 on the 2 week road trip, I'm very happy with that. Also got a little help this week with Windy City and Davenport losing a few games.

Just adding to my love fest of Gremades...kid is having an MVP year. In June he's hitting at at .441/.552/.735 clip with 4 HR and 24 RBI. Not to mention 18 walks compared to 5 strikeouts.

Oh, and on a team related note, it was nice to see I took 2 of 3 from Davenport. I'm pretty sure now that I can hang with the best teams in the league.

2-1 against Sin City, 0-3 against Syracuse. Gross. I was completely dominated in those games against the Slammers. 2-4 sims are not going to do it for me.

Looks like the Bat's fire sale might start in July this year. As every day goes by, I get closer and closer to being .500 and the Bulldogs and Wildcats get better and better.

20 games left until the All-Star break. If I don't post a really good record during that stretch, hopefully 14-15 wins, I will probably be calling it a season.

Got another message for improvement. 22 year old MR Justin Canten jumped up to a 6/5/6 potential, 62 OVR. None of these guys are pitching particularly well, so I'm not sure if my head scout is just a moron or what. This is just getting ridiculous.

Virginia is a bad, bad team.

We will be reimbursing season ticket holders a percentage of their costs for watching this trainwreck.

                        That is all.

Well I can't be too upset. We played BOTH division leaders and split 3-3. BTW Andrew. Did you see in our first game I allowed SEVEN unearned runs? Orudano had 3 friggin errors. Look for him on the waiver wire coming soon to a theatre near you...

Well we got swept by Carolina then we turn it around and sweep Washington. Not gaining much ground with these 3-3 sims but it's better than having a losing one every week.
