I'm not shy.... I wanted a top prospect and 3 1st round picks for Jerry Morgan. I think that's a bargain price for a pitcher of his quality, his age (entering his prime) and locked in at or below $10.0 for the next 6 years. If you're paying $10.0 for an ACE, you're in a prime position. The Great One!

With the increased accuracy of scouting, I don't think anyone short of Pancho Herrera (not just Clay's team, but the entire league) is worth more than 2 1st round draft picks plus a prospect or two.
And therein lies the difference of perceived value between a seller and a buyer.

As far as no one being worth more than 2.... maybe.... though I think Morgan is more valuable that Morgan right now. That's just me.The Great One!

The other thing to consider is that, with the new compensation system, if you have an eligible guy- say, Type A - it makes no sense to give them up for anything less than a 2nd rounder when that's basically what you're going to get.Charlotte Knights - OSFL

I still think we're yet to see on the accuracy. Case in point, I think I was the first (and maybe still only one) firmly in the camp that INT players are not developing in the minors and should be avoided in the early rounds.

This is why online leagues are better than solo. A CPU sees the same things for all teams no matter how many variables Markus throws in.
We are 24 very different observers. What I'm willing to give up for or want to receive in exchange for a player will almost never be the same as another.
Even completed trades are agreed upon by both owners with varying satisfaction.
