    Shawn Nolan
    Pick 1.15 - 1992
    Infielder

I thought I made one of these for Nolan...guess not.

Drafted Nolan out of Cal State Fullerton where he played 1B. I remember a lot of GMs around the league applauding the pick after it happened. My scout sees him about the same as he did then, solid all-around hitter with elite defensive abilities at 2B or SS. Currently 93rd best prospect in the BLB.

Called him up a few weeks back in hope to try and light a fire under R.A. Grounds and Clint Johnston's ass. He has definitely helped as we go deep into the season, with a solid eye and super defense. His role will likely expand to the starting role next year but right now, he serves as the utility.

    Marv Bowers
    Pick 4.16 - 1990
    Outfielder

Shocked I didn't make one of these for Bowers as well.

Originally drafted by Los Lunas, was scooped up two years laster after being cut. He originally made the '94 Bats roster out of Spring Training and actually might end up with a few ROY votes.

Great range in the outfield and has played all three spots. He can run a bit and is a free-swinger who likes to get XBH.
