    NEXT SIM: FRIDAY @ NOON

    ***

    Few notes:

    - All minor league systems must be at 25 (or less) when you export next. If it's not, I'm making the cuts. If you can't export, you need to PM me a list.

    - All-Star voting is opening. Voting will run until Monday, Manager picks on Tuesday, Game on Wednesday. I'll open a thread in a few seconds.

    F'ck on!

5-1. Still creeping 3 games in back of Mississippi but now 5 up in the WC standings.

      - Welcome back Pancho Perez!

      - Alex Martinez' first BLB start: 6 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 5 BB, 4 K. We'll take it. But after already pitching 107 innings this season, we will need to be careful with his workload going forward.

      - Coffin Harrington now holds a 1.47 ERA in 18.1 BLB innings. Hopefully he's here to stay. He, Nuijs, Copeland and Yoshino have suddenly given us four solid bullpen arms.

      - Catcher Jerry Craig is now hitting .350 in spot duty with a 7/2 K/BB ratio. He could start at catcher for quite a few teams in the BLB right now.

      - Brad Flynn hit 4 HR in 49 games for AAA Montreal this season and has now hit 4 HR in 12 games at the BLB level while filling in for Crews and Nichol. His eye needs some more development but we are pleasantly surprised by his power.

      - Dewitt Dunlap pretty much destroyed the Maine Guides, going 6-for-13 in the 3-game sweep with 4 HR, 7 RBI and 6 runs scored. Screw Kinsey - this man deserves your DL DH All Star vote.

Also Woodbury's performance, at his age, is becoming borderline ridiculous right now.

Somebody break out the HGH tests please.

                That's nice, but I like: 1-0, 0.77 ERA, 8 K, 4 BB, 11 IP just as much.

Having said that, Gerard's stamina is definitely going to be an issue. 6.2, 5.0. Those are his innings in his two starts. Not enough for a starter in A ball.

Nope. He threw 94 pitches his first start and I think 85 in his second.

The positive is he won't walk many if he reaches his potential so that should keep pitch count down and allow him to go deeper into games. But, I'm expecting he'll be a 6 inning guy max unless he moves to the pen.

My little team is finally playing how I hoped they would! Hopefully we can keep it up the 2nd half of the season.

I'm firmly convinced that talent wise, scout wise, missing players due to injury, and salary wise, I have the worst team I've fielded since the second year I've had the Slammers. but somehow we keep plugging along. 4-2 week, 2 games behind the damn Clowns.

After our 5-1 week that featured good production throughout the lineup, we reverted back to our usual selves and went 2-4 this sim. Under .200 as a team, some spotty pitching and not too much to get excited about.

Los Alamos has run away with the division these past two weeks. I didn't expect to be a playoff team, but I was hoping to keep it interesting. That's over now.

Bittersweet week. Love beating the Playboys cause it rarely happens... and passed those frauds in DC.... but don't like dropping a series to Baltimore.

The Ironfist game was just stupid. He throws 7.1 of 1 hit ball with 12 Ks. Makes one mistake. Meanwhile, the offense piles up 8 hits but can't plate a single runner.

I think we just miss Danny Nelson.
