Which brings me to this week's rant...

I continue to absolutely hate how the AI utilizes bullpens in this game. I've tried tweaking the strategy settings and shuffling players, but nothing seems to help. I'm blowing saves left and right because AI wastes my Closer when I'm down 10 runs in the 8th; and then pitches anyone BUT the Closer in a save situation the next night.

Certainly can't and won't defend HAL... but it's partially a numbers game. You're running an 11-man pitching staff. Logically, that should be enough in the DH league, but it really is light by at least one guy (IMO).

Yeah, I've carried 12 pitchers about half of the time. This season I got stuck with a couple of old bats that refuse to be demoted, so I had to give up a bullpen slot to try out a hitter or two.

I'm sure HAL does a better job than I care to admit. I'm so anal in my solo historical league that I end up managing at least half of the games. I probably should be on medication.
