    • And with the 19th pick of the 1994 draft, The Baltimore Bulldogs select:

Antonio Trujillo of the Texas Longhorns.

Antonio is the epitome of versatility, able to play pretty much any position in the field. We like his ability to put the ball in play and he obviously has a bit of power with 16 dingers his sophomore year and 11 last year. Love that we were able to get him here.

      • Really like the Torley and Trujillo picks.

If Trujillo can field capably at a position other than 1B he will have been a steal there.

Yea. I think he'll cut it as a 2nd or 3rd baseman. He doesn't have the speed to play the outfield. Hell, the dude can play catcher.

              • Went between Trujillo and Ramos at 1.9 but went with Ramos because I think he can play short, although Trujillo probably could too.

                  • The Wade Tull pick surprises me. Did not expect him to be a first round pick. Or second. Or third.

But, he throws hard and will strike out a lot of guys. The last few first round relievers taken in the draft were BLB-ready.
