Hmm, might need to find a better #5 hitter. 12 walks for Zamarida. Stop being afraid Pilsner.

edit: Actually, I'm good with Latham. If he's gonna drive in 7 because the opposing team wants to walk Zamarida, then I'm for it. His bat is just beginning to heat up anyway.

Don Morgan. You may have no pop, but you gather hits.

We're walking a lot. Also striking out a lot. It's Denver.

Yoshida blows a save against Los Lunas and then we're swept in four games by Mississippi. Three of which games were by one run, two of which we led and lost late.

Outstanding! I either need to trade for some pitching or just blow this thing up.

          3-4,

Including losing three straight to Batavia. I knew they would give us problems once they started connecting at the plate. Also, Wallace is hitting .141, easily the worst month in his BLB career. I'm not really sure what's wrong with both him and Kubota who is hitting .230. I don't mind Kubota so much because he's got a .380 OBP to go along with that low average. May be time to shake the lineup up a bit.

Also, Brad I am so sorry. I swear, I didn't know O'Moore had hit the wall.

Pawtucket 5-2. Nice to see the lineup back together for the first time this season.

"The Link" off to a real slow start in Pawtucket, but he does still draw walks and seems to be protecting the other big hitters in the lineup.

Lets see how long this health kick last.

Explayer watch: Aurillo now has 60% of the Dino's wins. Christian Rivera batting .350 Ave .422Obp .537Slg finally brought the fun back in what otherwise boring franchise.

Carolina Tobs- 4-3 this week (8-11 overall)

We started the week losing 2/3 to the Bandits, both losses in heartbreaking fashion before winning 3 of 4 against Davenport.

Ismael Reyes had a nice week for us, .393 BA with a 1.286 OPS and 2 HR. He'd really struggled in the first two sims so it's good to see him step up. We're counting on him. In general, we still need some of the bats to wake up, but it's starting to come around.

Our pitching was pretty good this week. Hector Perez won both his starts, Robby Johnston continues his surprisingly good start and Doug Howe was terrific but didn't get any run support.

Coming up: 2 vs CHI, 2 @ LAM, 3 vs WIL. It would be nice to get up to .500, but I'm not counting on it.

                    He'll be alright. I'm not worried . . . yet.

Undefeated sim, off to a 15-4 start this year

We're not this good and have won a few one run ballgames which are bound to go the other way. However, very happy to pick up Sato off of waivers. I think he could still be a solid leadoff hitter for me and be an instant upgrade at RF for the anemic-hitting Jose Compres.
