  • "Name 3" - 1994 Hot Stove Edition

Another Owner brought this old thread to my attention and suggested that we try it again....

    http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/foru...ead.php?t=4611

His suggestion, which I thought was super funny.... "Thought it was a great thread and was hoping that you could get this started (or something like it) sometime before the season.

I would do it myself but,

    1. Its your idea.
    2. Everything is always more controversial when you post."

    Fair Enough

    So again.... The RULES:

I'll give a topic... the next person who comes along and names three people/teams/things that fit the topic... and then leaves the next topic... we'll keep going as long as it has legs....

Examples... of possible topics... feel free to borrow from these if you can't come up with one:

    Name 3 Key Player Acquisitions
Name 3 Players to Watch in '94
Name 3 Rookies to Watch in '94
Name 3 Teams on the Rise/Decline

    You get the point....

Ok..... We'll start in the same place we started back in '85:

Name 3 BLB Superstars Likely to "Hit the Wall" in '94
    The Great One!

    To many rings to count...

Thought the same thing... but I think our questions are slightly different.

Woodbury is a lock for your list.... but not mine (out of his prime)

So who are the 3 most under rated players again? I'm confused.

I'm researching.... I need to back up my claim with numbers.

                            I'm going.....

Don O'Finegan (NO) - A rough '92 season slightly skews his career numbers downward, but all around great hitter who gets a ton of XBH's for someone who doesn't have great speed. Super aggressive on the basepaths. A natural 1B who has been forced into MIF duties.

                            Jayson McQueen (VIR)
                            - Of course it may be a homer pick... but we're all good for one. 44-11 over the last 3 seasons. Came into the league as a "Closer-of-the-future" and was the first guy with 100 MPH speed for the Colonials. Success as both a reliever and starter.

                            Joe Toapanta (MOR)
                            - I'll give it to Clown on this one. I don't disagree on Toapanta. Hasn't found the consistent stroke, but kid goes out these and gives you Quality Starts.
