And that Kinsey contract is nuts. I know he can hit, but damn. A $27M option for a 35-year-old player who already can't field, has a "fragile" durability rating, and missed a month and a half last season? Yikes.

Us losing out on Kinsey leaves us with a huge wad of cash with a sub-par free agency pool. I guess that was the gamble putting my eggs in the Kinsey basket.

Yea, the payroll number in the Financial Report screen includes Staff and Scouting Budget which we don't include in calculating payroll.

We signed quite a few bullpen guys this sim, mostly of the bargain variety. I didn't really expect to get so many of them, but we need all the help we can get in the pitching department. I also bought out Doug Howe's arbitration years with what I feel is a bargain deal.

Also, Baseball America has done a re-ranking. Still #1, 12 in the top 100, with Brown, Deleon and Martinez in the top 5.

I'd still love to get some starting pitching.
