Scouting reports

I don't even remember the last time I got a report like this.

Same for me. I do remember getting these reports in the last version but I don't think I have received one since we made the switch to 11. I agree with the others that say it can't be tied to the scouting budget or skills of your scout. I had a high scouting budget two seasons ago plus my scout is rated very highly and I didn't receive them.

I do know that I have the send scouting reports of upcoming opponents unchecked at the moment though, but that is a recent change so it makes me think that has nothing to do with it either.

I want to say the last time I got one of those reports from my scout was in OOTP 9. Maybe 10. I remember them. Haven't seen one in forever.

Something else I've noticed: When I ask for a scouting report on a player, I always get the same report in the news that already exists when I click on a player's scouting tab. And it takes several sims to get it. Maybe the scouting tab is automatically updated to agree with the scouting report?

Ah, so I have been getting scouting reports in the mail. Yea, they are a waste. I still haven't received anything informative when I request an updated scouting report.

Still no. I get the ones about my upcoming opponent, but nothing about my own team/organization.

Nope. I tried a few things and still nothing. I gave up and went back to my old settings.

Still no answers in OOTP Forums either. Did I mention how much that place sucks? I'll say it again. It sucks.

I think it's a bug, or something doesn't translate when you go to a new version.
