Does everyone get a report at the beginning of the year telling you who your top players are? I used to get one years ago but then it just stopped. I know it isn't budget because last season I spent max on scouting and it made zero difference. I know it isn't the scout cuz I've had 3 in the last few years and didn't get one then either.

I seem to recall something like this in the past, but I can't remember the last time I received one.

What's troubling is it seems like some owners get these and other reports while others of us don't. And like I said I don't think it's budget. THe manual is even sketchy about this.

I've gotten them, but not for a while. They seem to come during the season though.

I get them almost every SIM. I think there's a checkbox somewhere. I'll look around.

I also stopped getting them and can't figure out what causes it.

Perhaps you have to check off getting reports on your next opponent? I have mine unchecked. Can those that receive reports confirm if they have their checked on or off?

The one I get all the time lists like the TOP 10 on my BLB team and then TOP 10 in my Org.

Last season as in 1993? You spent $1.25 MM in scouting. Might want to check on that.

Thats the one I get like once a season. I do get the opponents scouting report every sim though.

                        Then that's confusing.

There's no other check off box in the Scouting Page.

You either do or don't get opponent reports. So, if checking it on doesn't guarantee you get an organizational report more frequently, what does?

No in 1992 I spent 12 million, whatever the maximum is. Didn't make one bit of difference.

The only box to check is to scout your upcoming opponents. You get previews of the upcoming series and who the top players on the other team is as well as pitching matchups. That's not what I'm looking for.

It's you OWN organizational scouting reports. Used to get them all the time now they've been gone for years. I thought it was OOTP11 doing it but I've heard other owners still get them and I can't figure out how.

One of the reasons I stopped visiting the OOTP Forum is because they are a mess.

No one answers questions there. They all view the thread and then move on to talk about something non-OOTP interface related.

It's the worst community of helpers. Absolute worst. And as much as I like that Markus made a game that I love, he and anyone that works for OOTP Developments never answers critical questions about how the game actually works.

There's no rhyme or reason as to why some people are getting organizational reports. It's not listed anywhere. No one's talked about it. I did a search and I can't believe no one's wondered this? And the scouting questions I did find were all left unanswered. There's even a thread where an employee of OOTP Developments says he'll ask Markus to explain and get back to everyone. It's been three years. Still no answer.

I do think that Honus Wagner is the greatest shortstop to ever play the game.
