            Unreal is right!

LA is the Sox to Virginia's Yankees I guess...

Game 6 was great. The old man still has it and gunning down the tying run was fantastic!

Now it's time to deal with a bunch of clowns...

                  Amazing. Two things happened here.

                  1. Virginia's ousting ended the franchise's chances at being the first team to three-peat in league history.

                  2. By not visiting the Brewmaster's for a fourth straight season, Virginia's run of three-straight appearances will only match Windy City's run from 1978-1980 in the IL. The Maine Guides are the only DL team to make three-straight appearances from 1979-1981.

                  And the storylines.

Indianapolis makes its third appearance in the Brewmaster's having lost twice before in 1987 to California and last year in 1992 to Virginia.

No other DL team has made the Brewmaster's more than twice with the exception being the Maine Guides who have been there 7 times.

Only one team has lost in the Brewmaster's in each of its first three appearances - that same 1978-1980 Windy City Playboys team. The Playboys finally got their revenge winning in 1986.

This will be Los Alamos first time making the Brewmaster's. The last team to win the Cup in its first appearance: the 1987 California Kodiaks who beat, you guessed it, the Indianapolis Clowns.

                    I agree, Virginia choked.

We choked big time. Bats never showed. Worst part was Game 6. Not only squandered a fantastic pitching effort from Pancho... But ToYo triples to start the Bottom of 9 and we fail to plate him to tie the game. Inexcusable.

                      Two losses at home.

                      Props to LA.

As I said in CHAT... The Reign of Terror is over. Love Indy in this series on paper, but I'll root for LA. IL represent!!

Game 6: 20 runners stranded, including 6 by Woodbury. Ouch. He stranded 21 total for the 7 game series. Not like him at all, but he just got cold at the worst time.
