Apparently the OOTP gods have finished screwing with me for this season...And they've started on next season. Set-up guy is out until August '94. Starting 1B and 2B go down too. It's starting to smell bad around here...

      Pawtucket 2-4.

The 5 week injury to Victor Gonzalez was rather cute

IF (big IF) we can get past the first round (or rather first week of the playoffs) I may have 2 players from my opening day roster back on the field (Ivan G, Raul Z)

This year has sucked for injuries.

LA has surpassed the highest win total in team history this week. I think a 7 game cushion is safe (except when I have to face WC for 4 to end the season).

Both Los Alamos and Virginia can afford to rest players but also control the destiny of their playoff opponents. Interesting.

Can Sept. callups play in the playoffs?

I was wondering that also. I got a guy who seems eager to play in October plus all these dam injuries.

Sure, but you still gotta trim your roster to 25 before the playoffs.

September callups can only be on your playoff roster if they were either (a) on the 40 man prior to September 1st OR (b) replacing a significant injury where you are left with no other players.

                      .500 baby!

I'd like Indy and Dallas to let Pancho Alvarez pick up 5 more RBI. It will look good on his stat sheet.

No way. My team has the ability to lose 7 straight.

                            Too risky, IMO.

Normally I would be excited by that but I just got swept by a team of scrubs.
