We hit well but pitched like crap for the first time in a while. Quintero is out for the rest of the season and playoffs, ouch. We really liked his lefty presence in the pen.
Also, I'm really not liking any player on Virginia named Herrera. He's impeding O'Moore's DL and IL Pale Ale hopes.
Congrats to Keppel. Wednesday, September 15th, 1993 will forever be remembered as one of the most important dates in BLB History.
So of the next men in line, Gremades is the only one still young enough and good enough to bet on.
Sato is going to be 38 next season. But, guys play a long time in this league so anything is possible. Will probably have to play till he's 41, though.
Tesina bats high enough to get the at-bats so long as someone is willing to pay him to do it.
Zamarida is wearing a Denver uniform till the day he retires so it's mostly up to him to stick around long enough to do it.
George and Buzzell could be over 2,400 by seasons end with Jose Guzman right behind.
4-2, taking the lead in the Wild Card race by two games. Last three home games vs. Philly, then the Stout road trip. Morgantown, Virginia and Wilmington.
My rotation is completely makeshift right now. Just gross. Here is my six-man for next week:
1. Nate Taylor (waiver claim this year)
2. Chad Mullen (FA who was cut in August by Denver)
3. Gin-Fan Chien (AAAA type, acquired in March. First BLB appearance since '89)
4. Denny Erwood (Traded a 4th round pick for in July, ERA still hovering around five)
5. Manny Duran (Been with the team awhile. Last start, 9 IP, 8 BB, 17 GB)
6. Julian Orozco (Signed in May for $280k, made his '93 BLB debut last week)
Wilmington Wildcats- 2057- Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041 Washington Bats - 1979-2013

You're getting my vote for GM of the year for sure. Sorry, but I had your team left for dead. How you patched together this playoff drive is flat out incredible!
Great job Pat!

2 one run losses to Vagina really hurt. Two games back for the WC though and very much alive in this thing. Can't say enough about the performance of rookie SP Jerry Williams. Think he deserves a shot at IL ROTY.

2-4 as always for the Tobs. Probably not going to be able to run down Hyundai for the #1 pick, but we could grab the 2nd overall.
We called up a couple guys from AAA this sim, Pat Faulkner and Masaoki Matsumoto.
Faulkner had a line of .455/.500/.864, going 10/22 with 6 2B, 1 HR, 6 RBI and 7 runs scored, while also succeeding in 2 SB attempts. Matsumoto hit .389 in his first week. So, it's good to see them not embarrass themselves in their debut weeks. I think both could factor in to our lineup going forward.
