That team ERA is killing you. 4 pitchers cold down the home stretch aint helping either.

        3-4

Had our chances but lost two 2-1 games to Baltimore. On a bright note SP Raul Jimenez was picked up from Chicago back in April and finally got his first BLB start of the season. 7.1 IP, 0 ER, 5 K, 2 BB, and a win.

I was thinking of tearing this team apart in the off-season so I could get a prospect or two but with all of our key players under 30 we'll make a run of it for a while. SP Castre had a down year and our OF bats completely let us down. Keep us in mind this off-season...we'd like to add a bat or two to the lineup.

          Pawtucket 3-4.

Got some work in for the new kid and a bit of rest for the regulars. Love seeing Del Evans getting the spot start for no apparent reason. Takes me back to game 7 of the 1991 Brewmaster Series

Sort of ironic note : Pitt now 10-4 against us. Z FINALLY got it right!

yeah, well, this is the best rotation I've been able to put together without trading every player or draft pick I've had in the last 3 years. Look at this rotation and then what we've trotted out there the last few years and they look like allstars. Last season it was the injuries, this season the sim sent them all cold and won't cut me a break. It feels like I'm not even in control. This team is very frustrating.

4-3 for Baltimore and picked up one more game in the race for the Porter.

One of the biggest reasons for our 2nd half turnaround has to be Dani Salcido's move to closer. We had big dreams for Dani as a starter and although he has shown potential as a starter (2 complete game shutouts this year), he just isn't consistent enough. As a closer, however, Dani has been amazing.

Silly me! It's just my brain trying to pretend I didn't cut the one single outfielder I drafted that didn't bust and you picked him up. I can only imagine where I'd be with one of those OF studs that everyone else finds that is hitting .330 with 25 HRs. Aarrgghh!

I was going to correct you because I could never forget that you picked him up from waivers. Still pisses me off when I see his name on your roster.

We're making our annual late season charge. Usually this costs us precious draft position, this year we're tied for the WC. Actually made up some ground in the division race too but 5 back looks like it's too much to bridge.

Had a big injury though to Gerard Wouters, gonna miss the next 2-3 weeks. Here's hoping the youngster Angelo Hernandez continues his good September.
