2-4...no longer in 1st for the first time this year.
We hit .233 and have no chance. Alexander is showing his age, Rojas was a one and done rookie, May can't hit. We had a great opening month...since then complete crap.
Such a shame to waste a halfway decent pitching staff too.

A 4-2 week against the DL and sole possession of 1st place for the first time all year. Guess its a good thing I didn't trade O'Moore or Kubota.
Also, it looks like Wallace and Escamilla are finally getting their swings back. I believe that this is the first time that we've hit +.300 all year. Thanks DL rules and pitching, and by DL pitching I mean the Pittsburgh pitching staff.
Had a bit of a scare as Grady left early our 6-0 shutout over "The Team We Beatdown." Luckily it was a just a sore ankle and he should be able to make it out in a crucial appearance against Los Alamos next week.
Lost 2/3 to Morgantown, all close games. Just untimely hitting.
However, had a great series with Virgina and won the series. Game 1 was the highlight of the series. Don Leonard squared off against Pancho Herrera. Herrera and Leonard went toe to toe for 8 innings and both gave up 2 runs. Leonard came on a pitched a scoreless ninth. Olivo came on in the 9th and after retiring Dodson gave up a walk-off homer to Joe Rojas on a 1-0 count. We lost Game 2 and then roughed up Nate Magness in Game 3 of the series.
I considered bringing him back, but it would involve too much shuffling and I didn't want to pay him the asking price he had back then. Right now you're paying a prorated rate of his $3 MM. That's a phenomenal deal for a player of his talent level.
