Next SIM: Wednesday - Files due at Noon

    ***

I got rushed and forgot to change the venue for the ASG. I'll make sure Mississippi gets the credit for the gate.

Not a lot of success stories to report in NOLA this season, but Loren Washington has been a bright spot. The former highly regarded prospect, still just 26 years of age, is 5-1 with a 2.89 ERA in 10 starts as he tries to return from a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. He's pitching better at the BLB level than he ever has before, which leaves us wondering if his arm is stronger following offseason surgery.

What a piss poor performance by Castor in the ASG. He is way too streaky this year.

Exhibition games, even in season, are usually not indicative of current performance.

Take a look at his performance with runners on. His power outage at cleanup wasn't unexpected in the ASG.

Ki-hyeon Lim out of Lineup 6 Months
Saturday, July 10th, 1993: The Bakersfield Cannons were dealt a severe blow when Ki-hyeon Lim was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Portland Brawlers. After the game, the team trainer reported Lim might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 25-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with shoulder inflammation. They indicated it would take Lim at least 6 months to heal.

Hopefully he doesn't take to big a ratings hit

                Pawtucket 2-0

Second half begins! Lets take this new 6 man rotation out for a spin and see what it can do.

At least he'll be able to spend some time with his Grandkids before his rookie season.
