  • SIM COMPLETE - 1981 - Regular Season 9 & Draft

Busy sim. Entering the draft might be one of my least favorite tasks in OOTP.

    - Please check your A team to make sure all your drafted players are there. Please check the actual rosters, not html draft report.
    - Also make sure to shuffle your minors and make cuts to get under the 30 man limit at each level of your minors BEFORE SUNDAYS SIM.
    - I made a couple errors during the draft, that have been corrected but still show up wrong in the html. Notably, the first half of Round 3 and Zhang/Zhang.
    - The compensation picks don't appear in the draft html. I tried to make the draft 17 rounds, but it wouldn't let me change it without ctd'ing.

The files just started uploading, so don't expect it for another 10 minutes or so. HTML will be updated first thing tomorrow morning.

6-0 this week, made up a little ground in the division. I was hoping for a good week against Los Alamos and California, glad to get 2 sweeps. Also finally won a game on Sunday, I had been 0-8 in those games.

12 straight on the road coming up. :?

The Bock Division is off to one of those starts I've become all too familiar with.
      Washington Bats, 2013-

Thanks Andrew, it must have been a bitch putting in all those player names

Los Lunas minors continue to roll, Mohave Valley is in 1st, Boulder City and Socorro in 2nd and all teams more than 10 games above .500; Ray Royal had a great 8 IP, 0 ER performance in the sim. My boy Fernando Qutez continues to rake. My pet project, Keenan Earle now has 44 walks on the season!

Oh Ed Colville and Ron Maclagan are a nasty front of the rotation in AAA

6-1 sim, swept a 4 game series with Pawtucket and took 2 of 3 from Syracuse. Hopefully I can get even better with the addition of Rochs.

Much better sim for me than I expected. I split with Hartford in a 4 game series, then swept Denver. Teagan Corrigan lost his 1st game, but he also pitched a 1 hit shutout later in the week. Overall my pitching was very good this week.

thank god, a 4-2 week and i'm back to .500. made a couple line up changes which seemed to help my offense. 2nd in the division (by the slimmest of margins) but still 7.5 back from those damn bulls. Doheny pitched a complete game, he definitely came out of no where to become the best pitch on my staff to date.

5-2. Split a 4-gamer with Baltimore, and swept 3 from wannabe Washington.

Also, McNeilage will now negotiate a contract extension with me, after telling me for the past few months he wasn't interested. :)

Kellum went 1 for 26 during this last sim. Time to write the old man off!

Oh, and I lost Campoveroe for 8 weeks. Just as he was starting to come around.

I don't know whether to be happy or pissed about this. I have a 3-3 week, get swept by Maine, but gain a half game in the division standings. We'll take what we can get, I suppose.

After seeing your post, I checked on a couple of my free agents to be that said they didn't want to negotiate and it appears they also had a change of heart. I don't know what happened in the game to make it change (maybe it's a set date where players reevaluate their position). Regardless, I'm not complaining.

I think it's based on morale, point in the season, etc.

Yeah, I'm not too crazy about his demands. He's 31, and wants a 5 year contract, but I'm happy he's now talking to me.
