To be fair, WE have Manager's picks. WE discuss the Manager's picks (mostly for show) then fill the roster with our own guys. ;)

We are all well aware that the time spent between now and the announcement of the team is used to discuss the "Cover-our-asses" strategy. There's very little talk about the actual players that will represent the IL.

[Clay]

I'll be honest, Pat and I had very little discussion when we managed it. He sent me his list.... I have my opinions.... we settled.... boom. My guys are too good to be Manager's Picks anyway. ;)

I think the manager picks should be 4, not 8.

Take the top players voted by the GM's, Top 5 SP's, Top 5 MR's. Eliminates favoritism.

I don't think there's favoritism... but... more often that not, we take the GM's votes anyway. I know in my 3 seasons, I've never picked a guy who wasn't voted for.

That being said... I know it's my stock answer... post it this off-season and we'll vote on it. I'm up for what the league wants.

There is a lot of top tier pitching in the IL right now. I feel like there are at least 8-9 starters that really are pitching very well right now.
