My team has no power hitters at all. Reasonably young though, with some decent pitching.

The draft logic wasn't too impressive, evidenced by the 1st pick being a 36 year old pitcher.

My first pick was a Canadian pitcher who's nickname is "Four Eyes" :(

My pitching is very old. I believe all of my starters are over 32, and I have two that are 37 and 38. My minors are a little thin, and my lineup is decent.

The ratings are a 2-8 scale right? not 1-10... if so, my team sucks :)

Yes, 2-8. Has anybody seen an 8 for a major rating? I've seen it for baserunning and fielding, but not any of the batting or pitching ratings.

Looks like I got a good pitcher with the first overall pick, but he is 36 :/ I'm just as excited about my second round pick, SS Bill Johnson.

Yeah, the draft logic didn't really consider age.

That 2nd guy should be a stud for you. Those ratings at 20 and you'll have him for 6 years before he's a FA.

I love the nickname "Missing Link"

I should fire myself as GM, taking a 37 year old pitcher with the first pick?

                              I'm such an idiot! lol
